Thank you for your questions.

According to BS EN ISO 3506-1:2009, steels of grade A4 are "acid proof", which are molybdenum alloyed and give resistance to corrosion. The hyphen 80 denotes the property class. For Hilti anchors such as HST3 R, the resistance to corrosion is A4 however the property class is 70. This is because all post-drilled anchors are made of several difference parts which are cold worked to create the anchor. Hence the sleeve of the anchor maybe very high strength (some times >80) but the the at the location of the threading maybe 70. So the overall strength class is defined as A4-70.
